As part of the annual Lancashire Bird Report process, we assess records of the species of birds that are considered local rarities as opposed to national rarities through our own rarities committee. The species that appear in the report under this criterion are asterisked. However a full current list can be seen below. If you’re lucky enough to find any of these, please email the Recorder recorder@lacfs.org.uk with supporting details (written account and, ideally, images).
