It is with great sadness that we need to inform you of the passing of Malcolm Greenhalgh, a staunch supporter and contributor to the Society over many years. A denizen of Marshside and it’s breeding waders in his earlier years, he became a proficient angler and developed a wide expertise in the natural history of our region. He authored the Fishes section of the Vertebrate book we published and only a few weeks ago did I publish a paper of his on the Grayling. He’ll be greatly missed.
The funeral will be held at Howe Bridge Crematorium (Lovers Lane, Atherton, Manchester M46 0PZ) on Thursday 28th November at 1.45pm.
Following the funeral the family have invited friends to join them at the Travellers Rest, Newton Road, Lowton, Warrington WA3 1NZ
